Why is my Car not starting? Here is how to fix it

How to fix your car that is not starting?

There are many reasons why your car won’t start, but some are more common than others. Here are 5 common reasons your car won’t start and some tips to help keep your vehicle looking its best! A dead battery is the most common reason your car won’t start.

Dead battery

The battery is what the vehicle uses to power the entire Car and electrical components (for example, the alternator charges the battery while the car is in motion. If the battery is not fully charged, it will not be possible to start the car or use the electrical components. All electrical parts do not work effectively.

One way to check if the problem is battery related is to start the Car. If the quick start is working fine, you’re most likely dealing with an alternator with a dead battery or not charging the battery. Consider replacing the battery or alternator, cleaning the connections, or having a technician help.

Defective ignition switch

If you know your battery is working fine, but your car won’t start on the first few tries, you may have an ignition switch problem. You can try to determine the cause of your pain by turning on your headlights. This is because your Car’s battery checks the headlights and dashboard, and if the engine turns on, it fails to start, and a faulty ignition switch is a likely cause. A broken starter is another common reason your car won’t start.

The starter is an electric motor connected to a battery. Its role is to tune the engine (i.e., the starter will work after the engine starts and starts moving.

Faulty starter

If the starter is defective, the engine will not start correctly or may not start at all when the ignition key is turned. If you hear a clicking sound when you try to start your car, the reason your car won’t start could be a broken or weak starter. This is very similar to the incorrect ignition lock example above. The vehicle does not start when the ignition key is turned.

A loud click is heard when the ignition key is turned, but the engine does not start. Very noisy when trying to start the Car. If the fuel filter is clogged, gasoline cannot enter the engine. This prevents your Car from burning the fuel it needs to move.

Clogged fuel filter

Fuel filters need to be changed every 15,000 to 20,000 kilometres, so consider replacing your fuel filters the next time you service your vehicle.

 Empty gas tank

You may feel a little silly if your Car won’t start because of this, but it happens more often than you think! When you’re driving all the time, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the gas tank needs to be refilled. The solution is simple: more gasoline!
